For the Students

Implementing an energy upgrade project at a school has huge benefits for students. When students learn about energy efficiency, they can make big changes at their school. Schools are large energy consumers, which means that students’ education can go a long way in helping to save more energy.

When a school becomes more energy efficient, they also provide a better and healthier learning environment. LED lighting upgrades can boost focus, assist in concentration, and improve overall mood and behavior in students. Glare and flickering light is a big issue with existing fluorescent lighting systems. LED lighting reduces glare which can lead to squinting, discomfort, and vision problems. Flickering light can be an issue for students with Autism. Students with autism have shown to be sensitive to flickering light causing headaches, eyestrain, and increased repetitive behavior.
