Testimonials

  • When you undertake a large lighting retrofit project like we did, you expect interruptions in the classroom to occur. However, we did not lose one single instructional minute due to the retrofit implemented by Lighting Optimizers, USA. All work was performed during non-instructional time, and we were ready for operation by the next school day every single day until project completion.

While we ventured into this purely for the energy savings, we were pleasantly surprised by the increased lighting capacity. Further, the company honored its price for the project which reflected a substantial rebate anticipated from First Energy after project completion. When First Energy decided to halt all further rebates and didn’t rebate Chippewa Schools, Lighting Optimizers, USA paid the rebate to the district – that is integrity.

  • On behalf of the Woman’s Club of Dayton Foundation and the Dayton Woman’s Club, we want to thank Energy Optimizers, USA for the valuable guidance, partnership, and execution you provided on our Energy Project.

We could not have accomplished our cost saving results without your help. Your initial guidance with the DRG3 Certification process, your advocacy with DP&L, your delivery of our Energy Audit and subsequent execution of the project and even assistance with press releases were all very much appreciated. It’s organizations like yours who bring true meaning to service and partnership. It’s amazing to think that together we could bring 21st century lighting technology to a 19th century facility. We have already realized nearly $700.00 in savings on our monthly DP&L bill!

We have worked with this company since 2011, beginning with an energy audit and comprehensive House Bill 264 energy savings project. Through that $858,000 project, the district expected to save $81,885 on utility costs per year over three years, for a total of $245,655. Actual savings over that period are $409,681. Electric consumption was reduced by 32.4 percent and gas consumption is down by 24.2 percent. The savings are normalized, or adjusted to account for outliers in weather conditions and costs. As noted, the savings far exceeded the initial guarantee, and we have been very pleased with the return on investment.

Since that first project, Energy Optimizers, USA has been our vendor partner for multiple other projects, including interior and exterior LED lighting, a solar project working with our Middle School student “green team”, indoor air quality solutions, and more.

The professionals we work with at Energy Optimizers, USA are highly skilled and dedicated to ensuring customer satisfaction. Further, they encourage us to include students in sustainability projects when appropriate. I wholeheartedly recommend Energy Optimizers, USA for any type of facility improvement project.

Thank you for the great work that your team recently performed in designing and implementing our interior LED lighting project in the Robertson County High School cafeteria, kitchen, and gym. It was helpful to be able to utilize the Kentucky Procurement Cooperative Energy Savings Program to quickly move forward on the project.

Your associates did an excellent job in auditing and scheduling the project on a very tight deadline. The lighting crew respected our property and made sure that everything was cleaned up each day during the installation. While the lighting has improved our facilities, the energy savings we will see are significant as well.

Please feel free to refer other school districts to us for a recommendation about your work. We are very pleased with the project.

The new lights that have been installed in my classroom have been a wonderful addition to the students’ learning environment. The remote is wonderful to have control at my desk, or while I am up walking around teaching. The options of turning off selected lights and the brightness control are great features for allowing the smart board to be more visible, as they are more dated and not as bright. The brightness control also provides a calming effect for students, especially those with sensory needs.

The flat panel LED lighting that Energy Optimizers, USA installed in our building provided immediate benefits to our students. The crisp clean light allows students to work without trouble seeing no matter where they are located in the classroom. Teachers can pull groups of students to any part of the room and know that they will have adequate lighting to complete tasks. Options are available for teachers to change hues and adjust the strength of the lighting, which changes the atmosphere in the room instantly. This has truly been an upgrade for our building as we continue to strive to provide the best learning environment possible for our students.

In 2019, the Franklin Local School District completed a district-wide lighting upgrade in partnership with Energy Optimizers, USA, our school district was projected to save more than $52,000 annually. In the first eight months after completion of the project, the District had already seen a savings of over $60,000 on our electric bills compared to the prior year electric bills.

Energy Optimizers, USA, replaced all interior lighting in the district’s five schools with energy-efficient LED lighting. Because the new LEDs will last five to six times longer than the district’s current lighting systems, the district is also saving on operations and maintenance costs. These relatively simple but highly effective enhancements will not only benefit our bottom line, they will give a boost to our learning environments as well.

We utilized the LED Lighting and Energy Savings Program through the Ohio Council of Educational Purchasing Consortia (OCEPC) to fund the project. This program enabled us to make these cost-cutting improvements at no additional expense to taxpayers while ensuring the best possible pricing. The District’s projected savings have also been put aside to help pay off debt early thus further savings the taxpayers more money.

We had a very positive experience with the Energy Optimizers, USA team and recommend them to other organizations who are considering any energy savings project. Their entire team was professional and respectful of the learning environment while on site, and the project went very well.

We just completed a lighting project for our whole District through Energy Optimizers, and we were very pleased with the service and results. Our District planned on replacing the lights ourselves, but after meeting with Energy Optimizers we were able to see that the project could be completed much faster and savings could be achieved sooner. Energy Optimizers projected savings of over $50,000.00 a year, however since the project’s completion date in August we have already seen savings of over $30,000, therefore we feel like savings will exceed the $50,000 a year. They also were very willing to use local vendors when possible which our Board of Education loved and is great for the Community.

We completed a $600,000 project with Energy Optimizers a couple of years ago and they projected some very significant savings.  I was skeptical and had my doubts but our district is very satisfied with the work and we have saved a significant amount our electric bill.

We have used Energy Optimizers on several projects. We used them for a campus-wide an exterior lighting project. We were very happy with the work. We then used them for a phase 1 project consisting of HVAC, gym lighting, media center at the high school as well as gym lighting at the elementary. Then we used them for a phase 2 project consisting of renovations to an entire wing of our high school (science labs, agriculture/industrial arts/welding labs, home ec lab, robotics lab, etc). We are very excited about also planning phase 3 work with Energy Optimizers right now (a weight room addition at the high school plus kitchen renovations at elementary and high school). FYI – Phases 2 and 3 are HB 153 owner-design builder projects… we like having a criteria architect involved!

We were looking at a 264 project a couple of years ago. We actually ended up doing at a lease purchase arrangement that saved thousands on the project. The project was completed by Energy Optimizers and I used Baird Financial to secure the financing of the project. We have seen significant savings in our electric usage since the project was completed. Very happy with the lighting project.

The new flat panel lights are an incredible addition to my elementary classroom.  With managing 26 young kids at once, it is so convenient to be able to control the lights without having to walk over to my light switch every time I want the lights off.  When the kids come to school in the morning, I like to reduce the brightness to ease them into our classroom and help them transition.  When we are copying things from our board or using our SmartBoard, it is so nice to be able to turn off the front lights and keep the back lights on so that students can better see what is projected.  I also love being able to choose the color of our lights!  The students love helping me choose what shade or color we want for the day.  The new panel lights have been one of my favorite parts of coming back to school!

  • Over the past 8 years, PLCC has successfully implemented programs to increase energy efficiency, and reduce energy consumption. Recently, PLCC was able to create a new partnership (with Energy Optimizers, USA), resulting in the construction of a 400 kWh solar array. When the array is fully operational, it will provide a clean source of renewable energy for PLCC, while also helping PLCC further reduce annual energy expenses. For PLCC, “Living Green” is not only an opportunity to demonstrate financial and environmental responsibility but also to set a positive example within the community.
