Kettering City Schools has worked with Energy Optimizers, USA on three major energy efficiency projects within the district since 2013.
These energy efficiency projects have included interior and exterior LED lighting retrofits, building controls and programming upgrades in all district buildings, and most recently, a solar array at Kettering Middle School.
The projects have exceeded the guaranteed savings. In 2013, the district began saving over $193,000 in utility costs per year, and the savings grew with an additional project to $311,000 saved in utility costs per year. Read more…
