The Bellbrook-Sugarcreek Local School District implemented a House Bill 264 energy efficiency project with Energy Optimizers, USA in 2015.
The project included interior and exterior LED lighting retrofits, a smart bus block heater system, condensing boiler with solar thermal preheat, smart controls in kitchen appliances, and an energy education program for students.
Energy Optimizers, USA has guaranteed the district will see a reduction in energy costs of at least $178,000 per year, including operations and maintenance savings. We have experienced energy savings greater than that one year after project completion.
